Professional Background
Mr Glyn Evans has been a Director of London Knee Clinic for more than 20 years based at London Bridge Hospital and HCA Outpatients and Diagnostics, The Shard. He qualified in Cardiff and trained in Liverpool and Edinburgh before joining the Academic Orthopaedic Unit in Southampton as a Lecturer in Orthopaedics.
He became an NHS Consultant in 1990 and has performed thousands of knee arthroscopies and joint replacements, developing early expertise in partial knee replacement using the Oxford Knee. From 2004 onward, he devoted his practice almost entirely to knee surgery, carrying out 250–300 procedures annually until stepping back from operative work.
